We want to create opportunities for people to meet and socialise, this can only be achieved if the public realm is attractive and inviting. Priority will always be given to pedestrians throughout the development.
A central square where events and activities can take place, will help define the settlement’s character. Orientated to optimise the sun and shelter, surrounded by stimulating buildings, with pends and wynds leading to interesting places.
Integrating the main primary school and other facilities in the hub as well as making it very accessible, will help ensure it is well used and creates the necessary vitality for businesses there.
