East Calder Gala Day- Public Consultation
On the 14th June Stirling Developments hosted an Exhibition on our Calderwood Project at the annual East Calder and Wilkieston Gala Day.
We had been invited to attend and provide an opportunity for the local community to learn more of our plans and progress of our Calderwood Development.
The Gala Day, attracted around 5,000 people, and provided us with a fantastic opportunity to engage with the majority of the local population.
Often public consultations struggle to attract a few hundred people, the gala day enabled us to engage with a few thousand. Visitors to the marquee had the opportunity to meet members of the Stirling Development team, and discuss the project.

In addition to the Calderwood exhibition we raised over £400 for the local community by organizing a Rodeo Bull and a stall selling strawberries from Peter’s farm
